The EDM Council, on the request of some members, have initiated a working group to define clear business standards for data quality to help facilitate internal quality assurance criteria and to support cross industry benchmarking. The primary activity of this group is to create an industry shared Data Quality Rule Book offering a methodology to define, verify and publish a set of data quality rules for both reference and transactional data.
