Oversight and regulatory activities (Dodd Frank / LEI) are changing everything with reference data. How you source, tag, cleanse, map, distribute, analyze and utilize data is all coming under new laws and increased scrutiny. We all realize this is a global shift and must adapt quickly to avoid non-compliance.

It affects our risk, how we deal and operate – and validate - data vendors. It changes cloud opportunities and of course, moves the goal posts for EDM. There is an opportunity this year for data teams to increase their knowledge and hedge risks. With 300 attendees, FIMA is where the senior Data Management community meets every year to discuss, debate and come up with actionable strategies to move the industry forward. Key focuses this year are:

  1. Global Regulations & Compliance Changes - Specific focus on the global regulatory challenges Dodd/Frank, Basel III, Solvency II, MiFID II, Legal Entity Identifiers – and how to implement these - Find out what your colleagues and competitors are doing, and what actions you need to take to ensure you are compliant - Day 3 at FIMA is fully dedicated to regulatory compliance challenges

  2. Data Quality & Risk - Maintaining the quality of data and mitigating risk - Day 1 at FIMA being dedicated to this

  3. Achieving forward progress with EDM - "A Golden Copy" is what every company looks to achieve. It takes years, resources, people and technology. Is your company on the correct path to adopting a solid EDM plan - There is a case study specifically on this, an EDM success story and also specific panel on Day 2
